Forests are one of Romania's important resources, providing a varied range of ecosystem services. Forest ecosystems are vulnerable to meteorological and climatic factors related to air and soil temperature, precipitation amounts and soil water stock, as well as atmospheric circulation dynamics.The destabilization of the forest sector due to climate change leads to negative economic effects, both through endangering resources and through reducing the operational capacity.
